After nearly 30 years of living all over Chicago, Reed Capshaw brings a deep love for the city's unique neighborhoods and a people-first mindset to real estate. While most find the property search daunting, Reed genuinely loves it — channeling his extensive local knowledge into finding the absolute perfect fit for his clients. He thrives on personal connection and is deeply committed to relationship-building and exceptional service.

Before real estate, Reed built a distinguished career defined by discipline, trust, and precision. A classically trained freelance trombonist and educator, he has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and spent over a decade teaching on the faculties of Northwestern University and the Chicago College of Performing Arts.

That same focus carries over into his personal life: Reed is an avid guitarist and a dedicated practitioner of Aikido, recently earning his shodan (black belt). Now part of The Boulevard Group at Fulton Grace, Reed combines top-tier brokerage mentorship with his own masterclass level of care to help clients navigate the market with total confidence.
