After nearly 30 years of living all over Chicago, Reed Capshaw brings a deep love for the city's unique neighborhoods and a people-first mindset to real estate. While most find the property search daunting, Reed loves it, channeling his extensive local knowledge into finding the right fit for his clients. He thrives on personal connection and is deeply committed to relationship-building and exceptional service.

Before real estate, Reed built a distinguished career defined by discipline, trust, and precision. A classically trained freelance trombonist and educator, he has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and spent over a decade teaching on the faculties of Northwestern University and the Chicago College of Performing Arts.

That same focus carries over into his personal life: Reed is an avid guitarist and a dedicated practitioner of Aikido, recently earning his shodan (black belt). Now part of The Boulevard Group at Fulton Grace, Reed combines the brokerage's mentorship with his own exacting care to help clients move through the market with confidence.
