Every client who rents or buys with us gets a note like this one, built for their exact address. This sample uses our own front door at 1400 N. Milwaukee Ave. and shows part of the real thing: a full welcome email also covers the parking permit zone on your block, your ward and alderman, the trains, groceries and parks measured from your door, your building’s own details, and the property contacts when we have them.
Welcome to the neighborhood. This is the note we put together for every client after the lease is signed or the keys change hands: the practical facts of your exact address, looked up fresh, plus the local knowledge we would want on day one.

Six corners at Milwaukee, North and Damen anchor the busiest walking blocks on the northwest side, ringed by large Victorian houses on the streets around the park. Our office is a few doors up Milwaukee.
Named for the Wicker brothers, who donated the park in 1870, and built out quickly after the Chicago Fire pushed development west. The mansions on Hoyne and Pierce went up between 1880 and 1900 for owners of the breweries and factories nearby.
Put a couple of these on the calendar now, they sneak up. We keep a running list of what is on across the city: theboulevard.group/events.

Distances, stops, stations and the parking zone are measured from this address against city and OpenStreetMap data. The walking strips, festivals and the last list are written by us. Storefronts close and festival dates move, so treat this as a good head start rather than a guarantee. Parking signs on your street are the final word on parking, and nothing here is legal or tax advice.
